Political Gods

Politicians,

like their religious predicators

look down at people like slaves

And the people,

they look up at politicians,

like Gods who will win their salvation

They give people a simple solution,

praise me or perish

Put all hopes in leaders and all will be fine

But to deny this,

means death

All one has to do is look around

And see-

How cruel the world is

The best our lords have to offer?

If so,

one has to ponder,

What this says of heaven,

if their influence is religion

Modern people have abandoned God

And they also abandon,

spirituality

Why is it however,

that mankind still holds on to the idea of-

Master

The idea of individuality is still to come

Government,

derived from the idea of religion

God’s ruling their slaves

Hoping they never question
