*I'm not straight edge, but this is how I really feel, I constantly see people using excuses for the reasons why they use drugs, rather than admitting that drug abuse is a way of covering up sadness/depression/boredom. I haven't really wrote much poetic/lyric stuff either, so who knows how good this is.*

You tell yourself it’s ok
You say you smoke weed every day
Because it’s harmless
You say you smoke tobacco
Because it relieves stress
You drink on the weekends
With the excuse that
You hang out with friends
You drink coffee in the morning
Because you can’t sleep at night
Stop lying to yourself
You know it’s just a crutch
You use these drugs
Because you can’t fucking deal with life
Going through day to day
Because you can’t handle the pain
Your life sucks
